Volunteer Spotlight : David Reifert hasn’t been a part of our community for very long, but he has quickly become a great asset for our chapter. You have probably seen some of his work at Lost Mountain Park Trails or over at Pitner Road Bike Park. This man does great work with a blower and even better work with precision wood features. Oh and he probably took your KOM, too.

Thank you for all your hard work, we can’t wait to see what you build next.

This volunteer spotlight goes out to one of the most influential people in our trail scene. The man, the myth, the legend... Chuck Stewart. You may not have heard his name, but we guarantee you’ve seen his work. His eye for technical features and his MS660 has kept riders in our area smilin’ for years. If you see a rock on a trail, Chuck probably put it there. Not only is he the only person to have a trail named after him at Allatoona Creek, but he has also claimed the life of over 200 derailleurs. We are super grateful for all of his work over the years and we are excited to see what he has up his sleeve next. Thank you Chuck for making our trails so rad.

We are excited to be a part of ExtremeTerrain's clean trail project this year. They have graciously donated funds to help us clean up some of our most used trails including the latest bridge project on the Turtleback connector trail at Allatoona Creek Park. These funds allowed us to help Cobb County update a couple bridges so that emergency and maintenance vehicles can better access those areas of the park. If you are interested in finding more information about this grant please visit ExtremeTerrain's Website.
